Single Sign OnAuthentication by Passing User Name and Password via HTTPS URLThis works well when a user has already logged into their company intranet and they want to securely pass the login details to your store, eliminating a manual login. This login method assumes the user account already exists in the Acompra site. If not, the Acompra API will be needed.
SAML AuthenticationSingle Sign-On using Security TokensSSO, or Single Sign On, doesn't refer to a specific technology. It refers to a variety of ways to avoid having the user maintain a separate login on their Acompra site. The SAML SSO method is typically used by enterprise applications. Using SAML, Acompra can securely authenticate against an external source. Acompra has implemented multiple standard SAML services (Azure, Okta, OneLogin, PingOne, Salesforce, and a Custom/Generic option) and provides the ability, through the admin, to create custom SAML connections for others like Active Directory (ADFS). With SAML the your customer does not need to maintain a user profile in your Acompra store, however, a user profile is created within Acompra automatically to support the SAML authentication. SAML may be used with customer owned Windows Servers (Active Directory). There is a cost to add SAML to more than 1 of your storefronts and each site must be activated individually.
cXML PunchoutIntegrate Your Customer's Procurement SystemAcompra supports the level 1 cXML PunchOut process for integration with procurement systems like Ariba, Coupa, SciQuest, or Oracle. If your customer uses a procurement system and would like to integrate with the Acompra B2B storefront you provide to them, cXML PunchOut is the most common mechanism. In cXML, the user starts inside the procurement system. Using cXML, the procurement system creates a shopping cart session in Acompra for the user, and then bounces the user over to the Acompra store. The user does not need to login, as the procurement system has negotiated the login via cXML. After the user checks out, the user is bounced back to the procurement system and the order is marked as an estimate request. At a later point, the procurement system will tell the Acompra store to either cancel the order or change its status from Estimate to being an actual Order. Note that cXML Punchout is a subset of a much larger cXML standard that defines data structures and data flows. There is a cost to add cXML to more than 1 of your storefronts and each site must be activated individually.
cXML Listener URLPOST Order Data to External URLIn the store settings, Acompra provides the option to POST (send) to an external URL a summary of the order placed. This summary is sent in cXML data structure format. This method is used for some MIS integrations. This should not be confused with cXML Punchout.
APIIntegrate Your Store with Legacy or 3rd Party AppsA way for an external program to create, read, update, and delete underlying data in Acompra. Acompra's REST API supports bi-directional data exchange with other API-capable software systems, whether in-house or with your customer(s). It only touches "data at rest". It cannot introduce new capabilities into Acompra. A helpful way to think of the API is that it can automate things you might do in the Acompra admin. The API approach is called REST and it supports both JSON and XML data formats.

Custom Order Approval Workflows (B2B)Have Orders Approved by Buyer's BossPopular for B2B web to print storefronts, all Acompra B2B stores, this feature permits supervisors or purchasing agents to approve orders placed by their employees using your online e-commerce print ordering storefront. The triger for the approval request could be the product ordered, or who placed the order, the order value, the shipping method selected, and much more. When an order is placed by their employee, an email is sent to the "approver" with a link to review the order and approve it. Like almost all Acompra features, the approval system can be turned on or off by you on a store by store basis.
Custom Order Status ListOrder Status that Reflects Your BusinessThe current order status is automatically displayed in the store in real-time. By logging in to your store's Order History page, your customers can track their order online and check the current status. Status alerts can also be automatically sent by email, informing them precisely of the status of their order. Status changes can be done manually, or via a bar code scanner, or automatically via another system using the Acompra API, or perhaps a Zapier.com connection. Acompra comes with standard, built-in order status list or a custom order status list specialized to your business, your workflow or to your product could be used instead. By default, incoming orders are marked "Order Received" and can then be stepped through other statuses as needed.
Automated Order IntegratorConnecting your Store to ProductionWith this feature enabled, order are delivered automatically to a hotfolder on your network. This is a desktop application (Mac, Windows, Linux) that automates online order submission into the production process using hot folders. It integrates the Acompra order submission system with backend production workflow systems, eliminating the need to manually download and sort orders.
